Growing up

Summers of elementary school days, I wanted to go out and hang out, but mom said: “a little kid going out alone is very dangerous. You’re not going anywhere!”

Summers of junior high, mom said: “there still a lot of works (studies, reviews, extra classes) to do, no time to play”

Summer of senior high, mom said: “it’s time to prepare for college, you still dare to go out and play!”

In the end, I got into college, mom said: “why aren’t you going out and have fun?”
I said: “who am I suppose to hang out with….”

The truth is, what we’ve thrown away, it’s not time. It’s feeling…..
